Personnel Planner
based in Norrköping or Stockholm
You now have a unique opportunity to be part of the development and growth in the role of Personnel Planner! You will belong to the Swedish Maritime Administration's department Shipping and the unit Business Area Vessels, which is responsible for work vessels, the research vessel Svea, and our icebreakers. To meet these challenges, work is currently underway to restructure and strengthen the Swedish Maritime Administration's shipping organization on land.
You will collaborate with colleagues both on land and on board. You will report to the Fleet Manager. Your workplace is located in Norrköping or Stockholm. Travel may be required in this position.
Responsibilities
In the role of Personnel Planner, you have a central function to ensure smooth and efficient shipping operations. Your main task is to support and consult captains in the planning and staffing of personnel. This includes monitoring personnel staffing, schedule planning, ensuring qualifications and certificates, as well as handling other administrative tasks. You will act as a link between captains and personnel, ensuring that established routines, collective agreements, and regulations are followed. You will primarily be responsible for long-term personnel planning but will also participate in short-term planning as needed.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with a strong interest in development work and personnel planning. You have an academic degree in either human resources or maritime studies, or another education combined with experience that we consider equivalent. You possess good computer skills. You speak and write fluently in Swedish.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in similar tasks
- Experience in the maritime industry
- Experience in crewing and staffing
- Good knowledge of Excel
- Experience in implementing business systems
